By investigating the properties of wild clay and volcanic stone foraged from various sites across Sicily, Under Scorched Earth examines the territorial dynamics between soil depletion, tourism and land management.

Developed in collaboration with Emmie Masssias, the project looks into raw clay as a lens to uncover the socio-political forces shaping the local economy and geographical landscape.
