    Cooking Gestures Index    
The Cooking Gestures Index investigates the embodied knowledge rooted in traditional forms of cooking and their trasmission across generations.

By translating the steps to make pasta by hands into a vocabulary of symbols, the project provides a tool kit for a distant future when this knowledge has been forgotten.
The vocabulary of gestures has been gathered in a digital platform and translated into a series of clay sculptures hand carved with the movements required to make pasta.

Presented at KABK Graudation Festival in 2020 in an immersive multi-media installation where the gestures were projected onto the sculptures by projection mapping.
