About
Elena Genesio (Torino, 1997) is an Italian designer, material researcher and ceramic artist, currently based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
Merging hands-on material experimentation with contextual research, her work focuses on the relationship between materials and their surroundings, crafting objects that act as storytelling mediums.
Over the past years she collaborated with multiple design studios and institutions, including Dutch Invertuals, Palet, De Fabriek Eindhoven, the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, De Waag Textile Lab in Amsterdam and Crafts Council Nederland.
